Indian Drinks

The Indian beverages are a very important complement during meals and also their daily snacks. The original Indian gastronomy does not pair wines in its meals (although there are very interesting pairings), but it does pair wines with beer and even whisky (they are big consumers of this spirit). But the star drinks in the country of spices are those made from yogurt or milk to counteract the spiciness of the food, tropical fruit drinks and citrus-based beverages to cool the hottest days.

Indians are sociable by nature and some hot beverages, such as the spiced tea are ideal for socializing at home, with friends, at the workplace or with strangers on the street. And always accompanied by some tasty snacks. The influence of the ancestral medicine of India, Ayurveda,to Indian gastronomy, brings to Indian cuisine a wide variety ofinfusions with medicinal herbs and spices sometimes with dairy products, as is the case of the delicious golden milk which owes its color to turmeric.

They also have local liquors and with creativity, you can create an infinite number of Indian-inspired cocktails and punches with local ingredients.
